Every casita is a small house of its own.
Studios, one and two bedrooms, a three bedroom and a five bedroom — all freestanding, all with a kitchen, all on four acres of adobe village in Manitou Springs. Fifteen are open and taking bookings; the remaining seven come online as restoration finishes.
What is open right now
Sixteen of the twenty-two casitas are finished and bookable today. We do not list a casita until the restoration on it is complete, so anything you can reserve on this site is done — new kitchen, new bath, new systems. The remaining seven are released as they finish through the year.
The Studios
The smallest footprint on the property and the easiest yes for a weekend. A queen bed, a kitchenette with everything you need for breakfast and a late dinner, a full bath, and a patio to drink coffee on while the light comes over the ridge.

The One Bedrooms
Our signature casita, and half the village. A separate bedroom with a door that closes, a full kitchen with a range and a proper refrigerator, and a living room built for actually sitting in. Several have a sofa bed, which is how a family of four ends up here.

The Two Bedrooms
Two real bedrooms — not a bedroom and a nook — with a full kitchen and a dining table everybody fits around. The casita that solves the trip where the kids need to go to bed at eight and the adults do not.

The Three Bedroom
There is exactly one of these. Three bedrooms, two baths, a kitchen with room for two people to cook without negotiating, and its own stretch of lawn out front. It books early for holidays and it books early for summer — if your dates are firm, tell us now.

The Five Bedroom
The largest casita at El Colorado and the reason family reunions, wedding parties and small company offsites end up on this property. Five bedrooms under one adobe roof, with neighbouring casitas that can be booked alongside it to take the whole corner of the village.
