The casitas sit on lawns and gravel courts rather than a parking lot — a layout drawn in 1926 to catch the light instead of the road. Here is exactly what is open on the grounds today, and what is coming, with dates we are willing to put in writing.
What you can use today.
Private off-street parking
Free parking on the property, with a space near your casita door. In a town where downtown parking is metered, limited and the source of most first-day arguments, this quietly matters more than anything else on this page.
Lawns, patios and shade
Every casita has its own patio or porch, and the shared lawns between them are open to guests all day. Mature trees, mountain views, and enough distance between doors that you are not sharing a conversation with your neighbour.
Dog-friendly grounds
Dogs under 50 lbs are welcome in most casitas for an additional fee, two dogs maximum. Grass to walk on, shade to lie in, and Fountain Creek's trail a short walk away.
Keypad self check-in
No front desk to find and no key to lose. You get a code before you arrive and let yourself in whenever you get here — which, if you have ever landed late at Colorado Springs, is the whole game.
The game area
Cornhole, a bocce court and a practice putting green on the level ground behind the casitas — open now, and lit for the evening.
Guest laundry
On-site laundry access for longer stays — the difference between packing for four days and packing for two weeks. Ask when you book.

Three seating circles with clean-burning gas fire pits — no wood to haul, no smoke in your jacket, and open on the cold clear nights this valley does better than anywhere.

The remaining seven casitas
Seven casitas are still in restoration and are released for booking as each one finishes. We do not rent a casita before it is done.

Pool, hot tub & sauna
The original pool deck is a full rebuild rather than a refresh, with a hot tub and dry sauna alongside it. It is the biggest single job left on the property and we are targeting 2027 — we will name a month here once the schedule is certain.
